Dubrovnik is surrounded by an 1940m long and 25m high city wall which was built from the 13th to 17th century. Experience the old town with the numerous palaces, cultural monuments, churches and museums. Immerse into the over century long history of the republic of Dubrovnik which kept the independence for 450 years.

Our panorama bus will drive you to the viewpoint (gazebo) above the city from you have a marvelous view on the old town, the island of Lokrum and the Elaphite Islands. The sightseeing tour starts at the Pile gate (western entrance) and includes the following sights: the main street “Stradun”, Onofrio’s fountains, Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace, Dominican Monastery , Orlando column, St .Blase church which is the patron of the city and the cathedral.

Konavle Tour

Konavle is the most southern croatian region with numerous monuments of thousand-year history, which covers 33 villages. Their centuries-old tradition is remained through the Foklore, unique costumes of Konavle and embroidery. Experience the line of coexistence of man and nature in the picturesque Konavle with its 9500 inhabitants.

We visit the Sunday market in Čilipi, where the women, dressed in national costumes, are selling their embroidery. You can also take part in a Holy Mass in the Church of St. Nicholas and afterwards enjoy the songs and folk-dance of Konavle. We also visit the Ethnographic Museum of Konavle, in which the unique folk costumes and jewelery are displayed.

In the south of Konavle there is the peninsula Molunat with its bays and Prevlaka is located  at the entrance to the bay of Boka Kotorska. In the west there is the region Zupa with its  beautiful bays, peninsulas and Cavtat.

Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud

Day Trip

The islands were a popular summer-resort place for aristocrats of the Republic of Dubrovnik who built their summer houses there.

First stop is the port of island Kolocep , a pictorial fisher place with dense pinewood. The next place we visit is called Sudurac on the island of Sipan which is a fisher-port where the renaissance residence of family Skocibuha is situated. We continue our trip to Lopud which has a rich seafaring tradition and from where the most popular captains are from. After that we will have a walk to the Franciscan monastery and the garden of family Gjorgic-Mayneri from the 19th century. Enough time for enjoying the wonderful sand beaches is calculated.

Mostar

Mostar - the place where the East meets the West

The ride goes along the coast to Neum, through the picturesque delta of the Neretva River and the citrus plantations up to Mostar.

During the period of Turkish domination, Mostar developed on the banks of the Neretva River and became an important trading center.

An extraordinary multi-cultural city, the place where the East meets the West. On this site you can see still visible traces of various cultural influences that have emerged over the past centuries.

The main point of our tour is located around the old bridge, which in 2005 was on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. We explore the famous old bridge, visiting the bazaar of traditional crafts, the Turkish house and a mosque.

On our return, we explore the medieval fortress town of Pocitelj, (nominated for a UNESCO World Heritage Site) which is a mixture of elements of Mediterranean and oriental architecture. ("Sahat-kula fortress, mosque, hamam).

Montenegro

Kotor is the southernmost fjord in Europe and has the most beautiful landscapes in the Mediterranean. It is surrounded by high mountains, which are reflected in the sea. Ride along the Bay of Risan, the former seat of the Illyrian Queen Teuta and the picturesque Perast, the established location of many sea captains.

The tour continues by boat to the small island of ‘Our Lady of Skrpjela’,. According to the legend  the island was built by sailors. Everytime they returned home they threw a stone into the bay for luck and thus created a small island with a church.

The tour continues to the city of  Kotor, which is known for its Old Town and it  is under UNESCO protection. This place is surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, with impressive Romanesque cathedral of St. Tryphon (the patron) and the St. Luke's Church. The ride is followed by an orientation visit to Budva, one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast. Leisure time. Return to Dubrovnik Cross, the bay by ferry.

Ston & Korcula

Ston and Mali Ston were established in 1333. This place is famous for its 5,5 km long city walls which is the longest fortification system in Europe, the rector’s palace, chancellery of the republic of Dubrovnik, St. Blasius church ( city patron), especially delicious oysters and shells as well as the old salt works, in which the salt is still manufactured in the old manner.

Korcula, one of the most beautiful cities at the Adriatic coast was established by the Greeks in the 3rd century BC. The Greeks named it “Black Corfu” because of the dense pine-woods. The town Korcula is known as the birth place of Marco Polo. The plurality of cultural monuments as well as the famous stonemason, shipbuilders and sailors gave Korcula a special charme.

On our tour we will see the city loggia, Renaissance palaces, the cathedrale of st.Marco, the city patron with the altar leaf of Jacopo Tintoretto, Bishops palace with rich treasure convent, the city museum (the former Renaissance palace of Gabriel from the 16th century) as well as the town hall square.

Following the journey to Peninsula Peljesac , which is known for the red wine region of the varietal Dingac and Mali Plavac. We drive over the wine yards along the steep southern coast ( viticulture from the 3rd century BC) and visit a typical wine cellar with following wine tasting.

Međugorje

Place of Prayer and Reconciliation

Međugorje Apparitions started on June 24th, 1981. when six young people, saw on the hill called Crnica, several hundred meters above the place called Podbrdo, a young woman with a child in her arms, who gave them a sign with her hand to come nearer. Surprised and scared, they did not approach her.

Thanks to Our Lady’s apparitions, Medjugorje – a simple village parish – became a place of gathering for a multitude of pilgrims from the whole world (in the first  20  years,  more  then  20  million),  and  one  of  the  biggest  prayer  centres  in  the  world.  Innumerable witnesses  say  that, precisely in  this place,  they have  found  faith and peace.

After the Holy Mass at the church of St. James you will have the opportunity to  follow  the  same  path  up  to  the Apparition  Hill where  six  young  visionaries  first  encountered Our Lady.
